To visit all the key locations in one day and fully enjoy their beauty, it's essential to leave Almaty early in the morning. Our driver will pick you up from the specified address at approximately 5:00–6:00 AM. The long distances between destinations require extra time: even with an early start, the day will be quite intense, so we recommend preparing in advance for a long but exciting journey.

Arrival to the Lake Kaindy
Upon arriving at the parking area, you have a choice: you can either walk to the lake (about 30 minutes / 1.8 km one way) or shorten the journey by riding a horse for part of the way (approximately 4,000 KZT / 8$ one way, paid separately).
You'll have about 1.5 hours to explore Kaindy Lake, during which you can:

- Descend to the shore to get a close-up view of the submerged coniferous tree trunks rising from the crystal-clear water.
- Climb to the observation deck, which offers a breathtaking view of Kaindy's turquoise surface and the surrounding mountain slopes.
- Walk to the spot where a mountain river flows into the lake and feel the refreshing rush of the stream. In summer, you can even walk through the river right to the lake’s edge – we recommend bringing water shoes for this.
- Capture unforgettable photos, preserving this unique natural scene that combines the magical lake with the majestic Tien Shan mountains.

Visiting the Charyn Canyon
Upon arrival at the canyon, it's just a short walk from the parking area to the first viewpoints, where you'll be greeted with breathtaking panoramas of the red rock formations and deep gorges. You'll have about 1.5 hours to explore Charyn, during which you can:
- Descend into the canyon and take a walk along the canyon floor (about 3 km one way), where you'll encounter impressive rock formations and the refreshing waters of the Charyn River. If you prefer not to walk back, you can take a safari taxi for around 1.5$/750 KZT.
- Stay on the canyon rim and enjoy the scenic viewpoints, offering spectacular views of the most picturesque parts of the gorge. This easier and shorter route is a great option at the end of a long excursion day.
